The differences between the amounts estim
ated and realised under Heads and Sub-Heads, together
with the Treasurer's explanations of the same, are shown
in the accompanying "Detailed Statement of Revenue".
The examination of the Revenue Accounts was
conducted, under my direction, by the Local Auditor, મ
copy of whose Report, dated 15th February last, is
appended hereto.
The sanction of the Secretary of State has
been furnished for writing off, as irrecoverable,
arrears of Squatters' Licenses referred to in para-
graph 2 of the Local Auditor's Report to the amount of
$770.07, including the bulk of arrears for 1892 and
previous years.
With reference to the arrears of Village
Rates, referred to in paragraph 4 of the Local Auditor's
Report,
